But

that is not enough

Your email list should be

“RESPONSIVE”

What is a responsive email list?

It is a list where your subscribers are

REALLY ENGAGING

Your subscribers should open your emails

click links on them

reply

buy from you

and so on.

If your list is unresponsive,

your email marketing campaigns

will be a failure

A small list

with 100 responsive subscribers

Is FAR FAR better than

an unresponsive list

with 1000 subscribers

Coz otherwise You’d better

NOT

have a list at all

But

its not just about email open rates

Why?

Because open rates are not accurate

Let’s see

how open rates are calculated

Once your subscriber opens an email,

an image will be downloaded from

your email autoresponder’s server.

This download is recorded

and

is registered as an

“open”

But

there are 2 things (constraints)

for this to happen

Your email should be in html

The subscriber should have enabled the display of images in the email

Nevertheless,

open rates tell you

(at least roughly)

how responsive your list is
