What is Hadoop Service?

There are mainly two subprojects of the Hadoop software.

Map reduce – this is the framework which is responsible for understanding and

assigning the work to all the nodes in a cluster

HDFS – this is another framework of Hadoop that spans all the nodes of the

Hadoop cluster for the data storage. It helps in linking together the file systems on

the local nodes to make them into a one big file system. Moreover, if HDFS

assumes the nodes would fail, it would achieve reliability by replicating the data

across the multiple nodes.

Different Kinds of Hadoop System

There are mainly two different kinds of Hadoop Support system. One is the Physical

Hadoop which provides the Hadoop cluster full control over many resources and is the

most mature to be installed. This means that every feature you would expect from the

cluster would work. Another is the Virtual Hadoop system which makes use of the

virtual layer such as Open Stack in order to present a set of resources as a pool. This
