How does GDSS differ from Web Conferencing?

Web conferencing programs (e.g. Adobe Connect) are more aligned with a “one-to-many” “presenter-centered” model

GDSS data conferencing is founded on interactive collaboration around a shared topic e.g. problem solving or planning activity

Gartner analyzed differences between GDSS (a Grouputer core competence) and Web Conferencing using Adobe as the example. Believes a hybrid application combining GDSS and Web Conferencing is best solution.
