PollutionPollution
Pollution…
What does it mean to you?
To us it:
...is disgraceful
...is bad for the environment
AND a concerning issue
Some facts for you to think about....
Each year there are about 250 million cases of water-
related diseases, with roughly 5 to 10 million deaths.
According to the Environmental Protection Agency, the average
adult breathes over 3,000 gallons of air every day.
Children breathe even more air per pound of body weight and
are more at risk to air pollution.
Each year, coastal pollution kills up to:
........100,000 marine mammals........1 million sea birds
.......countless fish
Around 80% of the pollution in seas and oceans comes
from land-based activities.
This....
and this...
This....
and this...
....is what we are
doing to our earth
To patch up our mistakes We as a team Need to act
together to defeat the
pollution issue.
Do your
bit....
start off simple
Recycle
Car pool
Chuck your rubbish in the bin
Turn off the lights
Walk, Ride or take public transport instead of driving
Use green energy
Set your printers and copiers to
automatically print on both sides,
it takes more energy to make a sheet of paper, than to copy an image
onto it.
These are all easy things we can do to
help
So come back to
reality....
Think about what you are doing to YOUR
world
