Google AdSense
Google AdSense is a free, simple way for website publishers of all sizes to earn money by displaying targeted Google ads on their websites.
It was developed by company called Oingo, Inc. in 1998 as a proprietary search algorithm , but later it was acquired by by Google in 2003 and named it as Adsense.
How Does it works
● Choose the type and placement of ad units to be displayed ○ Specify where you want ads to appear
○ Choose what types of ads can compete for those slots
● Highest-paying ads display○ Advertisers bid on your inventory in a real-time auction○ Always show the highest-paying ad
● Get paid○ Google bills advertisers and ad networks○ Get paid through our reliable payment options
Have a Google Account
To start Google Adsense you must need a Google account login ID and password. This can be your Gmail Login ID and password. You need to go to http://www.google.co.in/adsense
Sumbmit Application/Website for verification
Submit the website name you want put the Ads and Personal Details for payment purpose

AdSense Revenue and Earning to Publisher
Google Adsense generates revenue through Pay Per Click/CPC and Pay Per Impression/CPM
68% of the total revenue earned by Google is paid to the publisher.
For example, if Google’s auction of ad inventory on your site generates $100, with our 68% revenue share you'd receive $68 through AdSense.
The payment to publisher is made through Checks, Electronic Funds Transfer
