FIFA 15GENRE: Football Simulation Videogame

FIFA 15 is an association football simulation video game developed by EA Canada and published by Electronic Arts. It was released on 23 September 2014 in North America, 25 September in Europe and 26 September in the United Kingdom and Ireland for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Nintendo 3DS, Wii, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Microsoft Windows, iOS, Android and Windows Phone. On PC, FIFA 15 runs on EA’s Ignite engine with the same features as the PS4 and Xbox One editions.

GAMEPLAY:

There are a few noticeable changes to the presentation of the game within the demo version, including a new optional "FIFA Trainer" option that hovers over player's heads. This feature slightly convinces me that EA will stick with the slow and difficult gameplay, because FIFA Trainer will act as an assistant for gamers, suggesting that developers have created this as a way to help struggling gamers find the right passes etc.Other new and noticeable features would have to include the coverage of the game itself, providing a more up to date and impressive set of commentary lines. The commentators seem to be very much aware of what is going on during the match, stating useful analysis and statistics in-game. 

ULTIMATE TEAM:

This year's Ultimate Team features a new feature, in which users can sign loan players for a limited duration of matches. Another new feature is The Concept Squad, where players have an access to the game's database and can create a "dream squad".  The concept player's card is grey colored. A number of new legends are also introduced to the game, including Franz Beckenbauer,Roberto Carlos, Peter Schmeichel and Hristo Stoichkov which are only available on Xbox One and Xbox 360.

HOTTEST GAMING NEWSNext Battlefield 4 patch is in certification, releases in 2-3 weeksThe Battlefield 4 Summer patch is officially done and is now in testing with the various platform holders (Sony, Microsoft). DICE’s David Sirland announced that the patch has been sent for certification, and this process usually takes 2 to 3 weeks before it’s cleared for release.

The certification process tests the new content for any system issues and makes sure things run as they are supposed to. As for the PC, DICE and EA do internal tests before releasing the update. While the PC update could be released faster, DICE has historically waited and released the update on all platforms at the same time. The Battlefield 4 Summer patch includes a slew of new features, including a brand new map: Zavod Graveyard Shift, which is the night version of the popular Zavod 311. Check out some screenshots of the new map, and a trailer as well. Other additions in the patch include a new weapon and vehicle balancing pass, and a big back-end server update that should make the game run a lot smoother.
