How Do We Define Web Enhanced?

For the purpose of Web Enhanced InTech:

Web enhanced instruction is defined as the use of online technologies and resources to supplement classroom instruction. Web enhanced technologies may also be used to replace a portion of the classroom instruction.

Newest technologies tend to peek the innate curiosity which promotes independent exploration of content.
