Go to www.active.com/donate/atlantaing

Click on the “Sign in” button

Sign in with your active.com username and password. If you do not have one check “no” and continue.

Complete the form to create an account and click “Agree & Continue”

Give a title to your page, e.g. John Smith’s Fundraising Page;Create your website address by adding your name at the end.

If your website name is taken, write down a variation of your name.

This is your personal website address

This will show up at the top of your webpage

Add offline donations like cash or checks.

Edit Campaign Details Tab

This is the body of your website. Before you introduce text, add the following <p align=“justify”>then your text which can be your Rally Kid’s story and/or your story.Show your motivation behind your running the race. Your Rally Kid’s story can be found on the Rally Foundation website.To add lines between paragraphs add the following </br></br> When you are done typing in the text add </p>

Use an inspirational tagline like “Running for Childhood Cancer Research”

Add your Rally Kid’s picture or your picture for better impact. Set up a higher than minimum fundraising goal to encourage donations.

Rally kid pictures can be found on the Rally Kids website. Just save them on your computer and upload them on the site.

Add your fundraising goal. Please let Nicole know of your goal level.

The two lists will appear on your website. If a donor chooses to stay anonymous their name or donation will not appear in the list.

Click “Save and Finish” at the bottom of the page before you leave the tab.Otherwise no changes will be saved.

Click “save and finish”before moving on to the next tab.

“Set Color Scheme” Tab

Click on the colored square and the color palette will appear to the right.

The preview window will show you how the site will look like. Click “save and finish” and move on.

“Track Offline Donations” Tab

Add here donations that you receive bycheck or as cash. These donations will beadded to your donors scrolling list on Your website.

Make sure to add the amount in “00.00” format

Click “Save this Donation” to finish

“View Reports” Tab

Please check this list to keep track of your donations.

Fundraising tips:•Add an email signature that shows the race, the reason you are

running for and the link to the fundraising website•Thank your donors as you receive donations and encourage them

to fundraise for you as well•Promote your fundraising website through social media outlets

like facebook, twitter, myspace, etc. •Organize fundraising games, parties or events
