DESCRIPTION

A customer case implemented for Forsmark power group, a Swedish company that owns and operates the nuclear power plant Forsmark north of Stockholm. This is a customer where safety always comes first and with use of FME they can facilitate access to data without compromising security. Presentation will include everything from manual paper work to handling of sophisticated models in BIM. We solved the assignment using open standards as IFC and used FME to move and assure the quality of data from both flat DWG models and smart 3d models to a database. The end result is a customized system with FME Server running in the background. See more presentations from the FME User Conference 2014 at: www.safe.com/fmeuc
