Tree Planting

At Tamaki street reserve

• We got on a bus • The driver drove us to Tamaki street• We all met Richard and Charlotte

members of Nelmac• They taught us how to plant trees• Can you guess where we went?

There were lots of worms in the soil. Richard told me that one of the worms was about 12cm. Do you that if you cut a worm in half both sides would still survive because there brain goes through the whole of there body

• Richard told us that when we planted a plant we had to pick the roots out so they anchored the plant to the ground

Since I don’t particually like digging the holes for the plant so Susan ,Katrina's mum dug them for me then I planted the plants. It worked very well

All together we planted267 plants

• We all had a really great day tree planting
