Obligatory Studies in iES Sa Palomera

In our high school there are five different options if you want to study a post-

obligatory study! You can choose among the following branches:

- Science- Tecnology

- Social Sciencies- Humanities

- Socials Sciences/Humanities

We are studying the Scientific branch!

We are taking a lot of lessons for becoming in the future great

doctors, chemists, nurses, biologists!!

It’s difficult but at the same time we feel that it’s something very

satisfying…

But we do more things apart from this, like going to museums, visiting the

university, taking practical lessons in our laboratory!

In the laboratory… Sometimes we take practical lessons

to show to our teachers what we’ve learnt during the term

…CosmocaixaCosmocaixa is a great museum that it’s located in Barcelona, one of the most important cities in Spain. We enjoyed a lot in that place while learning science!

UAB…The UAB is one of the most important

universities in Catalonia. In that place we could visit the microscope service. Using the microscopes we could discover great

things!

…Geological ItineraryOne day we did a geological itinerary with the objective of studying our beaches. It was an exciting experierence!

Josep Trueta’s hospital…That day we could get into an important hospital to become

privileged witness of the work in a hospital. It was very emotive!

Have a nice time!!!

It’s true that we do more things in our high school because that it’s only a small example of that!
