Google Docs

I decided to use a word processor and I choose Google Docs. I found that Google Docs are more than letters and words, it brings the documents to life with smart editing and styling tools to help easily format text and paragraphs. I was able to choose from hundreds of fonts, add links, images, and drawings. But the better part is that all is for free.

Also, with Google Docs, I can choose from a wide variety of resumes, reports, and other pre-made documents, all designed to make the work much better, and life much easier.

What I liked the most is that I can get to my documents anywhere at any time. I can access, create and edit my documents wherever I go; it could be from my phone, tablet or computer. Even when there's no connection.Another aspect that catch my attention is that all the changes I made in the document are automatically saved as I type. And last but not less important, I don’t have to worry about file formats again because I can convert Word files to Google Docs and vice versa.

Even though I heard about LinkedIn before, I didn’t know exactly what it was good for. When I first started to navigate through LinkedIn, I must say it was kind of confusing. However, I learned that LinkedIn is important to stay connected to the world in a professional environment. What interested me the most is the fact that through this professional network I can find jobs opportunities easier. For instance, nowadays LinkedIn is where all the HR managers and recruiters are now hanging out. Therefore, LinkedIn gives the opportunity to connect with a company or a person within that company directly.
