Rolling Consolidation
• Feature:– ImageManager 6 implements a new feature called rolling
consolidation that allows only the last N months of historical backups to be retained (plus the base image) instead of every month back to the base image.
• Benefits:– Reduce cloud storage costs and generate higher profits– Better control cloud storage utilization and reduce labor and
ongoing operating expenses– Completely serve client requirements with support for
Windows Server 2012 and Windows 8

Deployment Considerations
• Software requirements:– ImageManager 6.0– ShadowProtect 5.0– eFolder 3.8.1
• ShadowProtect:– Must be at least 4.0.5 before upgrading to current
version 5.0.
• Protected server and BDR appliance reboots required
