Eden Vision OverviewEden vision is a “Green” initiative through Save Our Children. Eden vision provides opportunities for youth and communities to develop a healthy physical, intellectual, social, and spiritual foundation through agriculture.

Eden Vision GardensCommunity “Love Gardens” – an area where community members come to share ideas, information, concerns, and goods. EV “Love Gardens” are non-threatening, non-prejudging environments where people can be accepted and work together for a meaningful greater purpose.

Men of Eden Gardens – An outdoor classroom where young and older men explore gardening, manhood, business, responsibility, stewardship and the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. The goal is help develop leaders with a healthy spiritual, intellectual, educational, and physical foundation.

non-threatening environment.• Bring healthy local ORGANIC foods to food desert locations• Prevent Crime (more eyes on the street and neighbor interaction)• Teach origins of food, math skills, business principles, stewardship, environmental

issues, job skills and life lessons• Add Beauty to communities and heighten awareness and appreciation for life• Restore oxygen to the air and reduce pollution• Many more benefits

Vision for LCCC• To establish a relationship with Save Our Children-Eden Vision

to work together develop students academically through service.

• Offer work-based learning or paid internships for students going into fields that serve youth.

• Offer students credit for service learning with youth or community development if it corresponds with courses.

• To engage student clubs in positive Lorain County activities.– Offer native and international students opportunities to share foreign

traditions and ideas and heighten their social and cultural awareness of the region.
