Citation preview
This eagle has the longest longevity ofthe species he belongs from.
But, to reach this age, he must take a crucial decision
He can reach 70 years
His long flexible claws are not able
to catch the prey anymore
at 40at 40
His long sharp beak curves
His old wings become heavy because of the plume thickness, braking him, sweating his chest muscles,
making his flying difficult
So, the eagle need to take on of those decisions: to die,or to suffer a painful transformation during 150 days.
This process requires him to fly on the top of a mountain,
in a new nest.
There, he hits his curved beak on a rock until he breaks it up
After that, he waits for the new beak to grows up.After that, he waits for the new beak to grows up.Then, using his new beak, he wrest his claws. Then, using his new beak, he wrest his claws.
After his new claws After his new claws appear, he starts wresting appear, he starts wresting
his old heavy plumehis old heavy plume
For another 30 years
Then, after five months, the eagle resumes his wonderful flight he was created for, that wonderful flight
he lives for.
Many times we need to suffer such a transformation process, to survive.
Why do we need changeWhy do we need change??Why do we need changeWhy do we need change??
Sometimes we need to give up at the past, symbols, some things we
are doing, or other customs.
We can live the present onlyif we give up the past.
