o Billing Period Unit: these are the units you’re billing

by – Days, Months, Years

o Billing Frequency: determine how many billing

period units should recur – if you offer a year

subscription, you would enter the value 12

o Maximum Billing Cycles: set a limit on how long

the recurring profile should continue – it’s important to note that if this is left blank, the profile

will only end when a user or administrator tells it to

o Trial Billing Frequency: the number of periods in

your trial

o Maximum Trial Billing Cycles: determine when the

trial billing cycle will end – once, twice, is it never-

ending?

want to charge – if the recurring charge is $10,

entering $5 means the trial price will be effected

by 50%

o Initial Fee: specify if there is an additional fee that

should be charged on the start date – this is not a

recurring fee

o Allow Initial Fee Failure: if you set this feature to yes, the profile will continue even if the initial fee

failed billing
