InstantEncore Profile

• Sell music downloads – Allows the organization to set download price points for albums as well as individual tracks. The revenue split for music sold through the InstantEncore site is 70% to the organization and 30% to InstantEncore. Checks are sent quarterly to the organizations for balances over $20. For balances under $20, a check is issued at the end of the calendar year.

• Download codes may be generated and given to patrons to redeem on the InstantEncore website to download tracks for free. Download codes can be used in a variety of ways.  • Offer to the audience on the night of a concert.  • Give to patrons as a gift.  • Include in a special promotion.  • Sell and use the download code as the distribution method.  • Two types of download codes.  • A "Universal" code that can be downloaded by many people.  For example

“YourOrg2012".  • A "unique" code that is auto generated by InstantEncore and can only be

redeemed by one person.  You would be able to request X codes (i.e. 200 unique codes) and then IE provides a way to export that and distribute as fits your needs.

• Album widgets allow you to bring a player connected to a particular album into another website.

• The radio widget allows you to curate a program from all of the tracks available for streaming within your InstantEncore account and embed a graphical link on your site which opens a radio player in a new window

• With InstantEncore’s API, you can stream music on your standard website. The API pulls information from the Music area of the InstantEncore Control Panel – album information, MP3 files for streaming, purchase links to storefront websites, etc.

• There are two options for actually playing the music.  • The easiest is to use the links built into the API to open a

customized version of our music player in a new window.  You can customize the header image of the music player and the primary color of the music player.  

• The second option is that InstantEncore gives you links you can use to directly access the MP3's if you wanted to build your own music player.  Much more work to implement this option.
