Introduction Prior to this lesson, all the content is related to number. The first chapter will focus on the cardinal number. In general
Cardinal number can be referred as a counting number that show how many things. For example quantity of pen in a box. One pen, two pen, or three pen. For a basic calculation, student should be able to define the number in cardinality. Starting from zero up to a hundred or maybe thousand. But for the beginner students or basic calculation, student must master at least the cardinal number starting from zero (0) up to ten (10). So, this lesson will allow learner to get the right information about Cardinal Number. The ultimate objective of this lesson is to enable student to read and write English Cardinal Number correctly.

At the end of this lesson, learner will be able to:

Outline 2 – Whole Numbers This section will present information on cardinal number increment, starting from zero (0) up to hundred (100). At the most basic, cardinal number can be referred as the counting number. Starting from zero (0), one (1), two (2), three (3) etc. Student will learn the fundamental of each number and the increment of the cardinal number. Outline 3 – Activity
PROPOSAL 1
For the activity, the courseware will allow user to interact to the application by clicking to each number @ button. When over the number are clicked by student, a voice over will be activate and student can pronounce each number correctly and memorize each number accordingly.
PROPOSAL 2
The courseware will spell the right spelling and a voice over will pronounce the correct pronunciation of each number. A button is use as the navigation for student to the next page.

OUTLINE 1 : INTRODUCTION TO CARDINAL NUMBER
Number can be classified as a pure mathematics devotes to the study of the integers. Based on Albert Einstein, a number by itself has no significance and only deserves the designation of number by virtue. The number itself being a member of a group of objects with some shared characteristics such as Cardinal Number or Ordinal Number. As mentioned earlier, Cardinal Number can be referred as the Counting Number starts with
zero (0) and increasing up. Thus in the first chapter; Cardinal Number, student will be
expose to the Cardinal e. They will learn on how to read and write the Cardinal Number in
English.
Generally, all the Cardinal Number will be presented in a table. The purpose of using the
table is to divide the Cardinal Number into a several group. By dividing the numbers into
several group, it allow the student to memorize and classified the Cardinal Numbers. The
usage of voice over makes the courseware more interactive to student. Below is the
suggested grouping of the Cardinal Number.

OUTLINE 2:READ (PRONOUNCE) CARDINAL NUMBER
In this section, student will learn both on how to read (pronounce) and write certain
cardinal number. Student need to choose a certain group of number that is represented by
the heading (in the purple row). The Heading #0-9, #10-19 actually is a button that will link
the main page to the actual page. For example by clicking the #0-9 button, student can learn
the number zero (0) till nine (9).
A table of Suggested zero (0) – nine (9) will be shown on this topic. Student will learn on
how to read and write in English.

OUTLINE 3: SELECTED NUMBER GROUP
A table is divided into three columns. CARDINAL NUMBER, HOW TO WRITE AND HOW TO READ (PROUNCE). Each columns have it purpose. For the CARDINAL NUMBER – is to show the actual cardinal number to student. This will help student to recognize the characteristic of each number. The second column – HOW TO WRITE show to student how to spell the correct spelling for cardinal number. Meanwhile the last column – HOW TO READ (PROUNCE) help user to read and pronounce the write pronunciation for each number. At this stage, the level for difficulty of this courseware is at the beginner level where by student will learn the basic fundamental of Cardinal Number. For the CARDINAL NUMBER and HOW TO READ columns, each number and the write spelling will be presented by text. But for the HOW TO READ (PROUNCE) column, a button will be place as the main feature. OUTLINE 4: NUMBER PRESENTED IN GRAPHIC
After gaining basic fundamental of Cardinal Number, this courseware begins to add some
adventurous activity by presented the Cardinal Number with actual object. For example figure above
represented the 1 (one) with one apple. Voice over will help user to pronounce the Cardinal

As mention earlier, a new set of Cardinal Number and number of apple will appear. The main
different the second page with the first is the existing of the PREVIOUSE button. The purpose of the
PREVIOUS button is to allow student to go back to the first page @ ONE page. The existing of the
PREVIOUSE and NEXT button allow student to have the total control of the flow or navigation of this
courseware.
