Viewing Employee History

Step 1 Open an employee record in Employee Master.

Step 2 Click on Salary Info and History.

Step 3 Click on Folder to see all history records by date.

Step 1 Open a record in Manage Employee Information.

Step 2 Click on Salary and change to table view.

Step 3 Click on any column header to sort by that field.

Using My Menu

Step 1 Open Options > Preferences > Maintain My Menu to create a personal pick list.

Step 2 Click on the Org Chart icon to jump page to page.

Step 1 Click the Profile icon, My Menu, select Manage.

Step 2 Highlight frequent items, click on Select to add.

Step 3 To access My Menu, click on the Star icon.

Using Replace

Step 1 Highlight the column to be updated.

Step 2 Right Click to open the Find / Replace options.

Step 3 Enter the data, click on Add, then Replace All.

Step 1 Highlight the column to be updated.

Step 2 Right Click to open the Find / Replace options.

Step 3 Enter the data, click on +, then on Replace All.

Step 1 Click the edge of a column header to change sizes or inside the header to move it.

Step 2 If you have rights, you may save this as the new table layout that all users will see.

Step 1 Click the edge of a column header to change sizes or inside the header to move it.

Step 2 Move columns slowly to avoid getting hung up.

Step 3 New in Costpoint 7, you can save your personal view by clicking the Profile icon.

Copying Data to Excel

Step 1 Open a table and click File/Copy (not Control C).

Step 2 Open an inquiry page and query the data needed.

Step 3 Click the funky arrow icon to export to a CSV file.

Step 2 Click the top left square and right click to export.
