Delphi Zoning is the next step in a county-wide project

First – Carroll County Comprehensive Plan Purpose to create a plan for the

long-term development of the county

Second – Carroll County Zoning Ordinances A 2+ year project currently in the

final stages of drafting

NOW – Taking a look at the municipal zoning ordinances NOTE: Delphi, Burlington,

Camden, and Yeoman are all under primary umbrella of County Zoning

Original Zoning enacted in early 1970’s

Land use needs and conflicts have drastically changed and increased in 40 years

Hoosier Heartland Corridor will change the face and commerce options for Carroll County

We need to plan for and be ahead of changes and anticipate new needs and conflicts
