Creating a website is a great way to promote a business, start a business or get setup to start making money online.  The process has also changed and is continuing to evolve as the web becomes more of a global communications and business medium.

2.) The next step is to pick your domain name and decide if you want to use a free hosted domain that you do not own or would you rather purchase your own domain and pay for hosting so that you will have more control over it. If you are choosing to use your site to make a full-time income, you would be in a much safer operating position by purchasing your own domain and paying for hosting yourself.

Not only does this give you more promoting and marketing flexibility but you can also build up equity and value in your domain and sell it for a significant profit in the future if you so choose.

3.) Now you are ready for your website design process. If you do not have web design training or skills then the best thing to do is to use a professionally designed template that you can customize by adding additional plug-gins or widgets.

Once these 3 steps are completed it is time to start adding content and promoting your site. This is going to be the on going part of the process that will allow you to turn your efforts from creating a website into ultimately, making money online.
