What is coralA living structure made of groups of

organisms called polyps symbiotic relationship with a Zooxanthellae

to breed and creates the proper conditions for the skeleton to form

Reefs, Fringing Reefs and Patch Reefs.The area covered by bank reefs is over 38.3

km , while the fringing reefs cover 20.4 km.

protect the coralThe park and reserve are located on the west

coast of Barbados. The reserve is 2.2 kilometres and is 950 metres

at its widest point and 660 metres at the narrowest

The reserve consists of four zones:scientific zonenorthern and southern zonesrecreational zone
