Offer attractive prices to the end customer

Economy of Scale

Reduce zoo of technologies + few technology companies serve high

volume (e.g. one DRM backend for multiple retailers, DRM middleware,..)

Optimize the user experience

Offer high quality, don’t restrict use, let content flow!

Review traditional business models

Make (all) content available, listen to customer’s needs!

E.g. Adapt release windows (Pirated movies are available prior release date!);

There are no longer platform/bearer specific customers (e.g. only cable,

only TV)
