MAYA DVB-S2/DVB-C edge IRDS orReceivers are capable of decodingMPEG-2/ MPEG-4 stream. Thesedevices are placed at cable headends in order to receive signal andto demultiplex the digital signal.MAYA IRD enables channeloperators distributing content viasatellite/cable and IP to increaseadvertising revenues by insertingregional or local commercials atthe edge of the network. Thesoftware applications running onthe MAYA IRD enables seamless adinsertion.

MAYA IRD

MAYA IRD is a DVB-S/S2/C Receiver withBroadband Connectivity. Maya IRDs has multiple

inputs like Compressed Digital in, Un-CompressedSDI and multiple outputs like A/V Analog out, SDI

out, HDMI and Component out. Receives anddecodes input of Satellite broadcast, schedules,and Video overlay signals. Maya IRDs are full HD

enabled.

Content Distribution Server (Pitcher)

Content Distribution Server is an asset distributionsolution which is meant to deliver assets accurately

and efficiently. The CDS comes with features likeFEC, authentication, encryption, varied channel

support, multiple channel support, file schedulingetc to ensure a reliable and efficient distribution of

assets. CDS can work on various transmissionmediums like internet, leased lines, satellite

communication etc. CDS can act either a source ordestination for asset transfer.

MEE (Maya Data Injection Carousel)

The MEE (Media Execution Engine) SERVER is adata injecting server which is responsible forinjecting data into SPTS/MPTS. MEE acceptsMPTS/SPTS on multi-cast udp from Encoder

(VBR/CBR) and private data from coming fromMaya Dashboard Application or pitcher convertsthe private data into TS packets and injects intoexisting service or creates a new service. TS out

from the MEE passed to the Mux for transmission.
