Connected Urban Transportation Solutions

The availability of a citywide broadband infrastructure is the basis for the successful

implementation of Connected Urban Transportation (CUT). Initially, this will support the

development of data, voice, video and mobile communication platforms that will be used with

local policy and other efforts to increase enablement of work anywhere/anytime.

Our goal is to propose concepts which make public transportation an attractive, convincing

alternative to private cars.

Bynet’s Connected Urban Transportation Solutions improves

the customer experience by providing High-speed wireless

Internet access for all passengers and interactive displays

of Real-time travel information (location, routes and

more), video surveillance inside the bus, local and remote

monitoring and real-time video analytics.

Entertainment suite via onboard touch screens is based

on the ViewCore System, an integrated software solution

that manages and delivers content electronically and

interactively, enabling on-demand services.

Bynet’s Connected Urban Transportation Solutions improves the Back Office Services by

providing Fleet Management (Location-Based Services - GIS), Maintenance Data with

integration to the current bus onboard computer and theft protection.

Fleet Management

• GPRS Roaming - Customized tracking profiles

• SMS notification - Upon event, to a pre-defined cell numbers

• SMS commands - Basic configuration parameters

• Geo-Fence - Built-in polygon zones, coordinates

The system has built-in GPS which monitor all devices

location in one map. Each icon on the map allows the

user to open floating windows for live streaming. In case

of alarm the system opens the map with the alarm device

and live video stream accordingly. The system supports

Google map and can integrate with other map systems.

The mobile unit supports standard protocols for live

streaming and SDK for integration with other

control software.
