A SYSTEM TO CALCULATE THE PERCENTAGES OF DISCOUNT OF LAUNDRY

1.0 INTRODUCTION

What is system?

What exactly is a system? A system is a group of interacting, interrelated and interdependent

components that form a complex and unified whole. Systems are everywhere. For example, the

R&D department in your organization, the circulatory system in your body, the predator/prey

relationships in nature, the ignition system in your car, and so on. Ecological systems and human

social systems are living systems human-made systems such as cars and washing machines are

nonliving systems. Most systems thinkers focus their attention on living systems, especially

human social systems. However, many systems thinkers are also interested in how human social

systems affect the larger ecological systems in our planet.

What is laundry?

Laundry is a service wash clothes. Laundry process is often done in business, room or

area in your home or apartment building, reserved for that purpose that also sometimes referred

to as the laundry. The material is washed which is also generally referred to as the laundry.

A laundry service is a company which does laundry for its clients. There are number of

different styles of laundry service, with varying rates. Laundry services are especially popular

with people who are very busy and with people and organizations which have high volumes of

laundry along with people who simply dislike doing laundry. Many communities have laundry

services, which may be listed in the phone book or available through Laundromats.

In a classic laundry service, laundry is picked up from residences and businesses on a

regular schedule. People usually pay by weight for their laundry with the service washing,

drying, and folding the laundry. Additional services like stain treatment, dry cleaning, and

ironing may also be offered at some laundry services.

2.0 PROBLEM STATEMENT

Because the system has not been made so we created to make it easier to calculate. This is

due to the commonly used manual system slow, losing customer information file storage, need a

place to store the data that requires the production cost and the system is not perfect. By making

this, the systems more consumers will be comfortable and easy to perform calculations. In

addition, the absence of this formula causes the users hard to make calculations in solving

financial accounting calculations.

3.0 OBJECTIVE

The objective to develop this system is:

i. Calculating the total weight (kg). Laundry items are shipped after a 10 percent discount (%).

ii. Calculating the price of laundry items by category. Instance students and the general public.

iii. Calculating the laundry clothing items by category. For example, Additional services like

stain treatment, dry cleaning, and ironing may also be offered at some laundry services.

4.0 SCOPE

The scope this system is:

1. User

The people use this system to solve their problem especially how to calculate on financial

of laundry based on the formula given.

2. The formula :

i. Calculating the total weight (kg). Laundry items are shipped after a 10 percent

discount (%).

5.0 CONCLUSION

Overall, we can see there are many advantages when there is a new system where it helps the

laundry shop performs the task quickly and efficiently. Besides, with this system it can reduce

the cost of keeping the user information file and also it can reduce ordinary negligence occurred

in a laundry as user info offense which causes the user entered for the clothing of other users. It

is also saves time and services to the users so can upgrade the laundry service. This systems will

making consumers will be more comfortable and easy to performing calculations.
