Intro to article- Explains what the article is all about-Name of article/band in bold and different colors to stand out-Always positioned underneath the headline

Drop Cap- the reader knows were to start from.

Other techniques- bold font, different colors and capital letters

Direct Address from the

Breaking of page by inserting

pictures or quotes

makes it look

interesting

BASIC THINGS ABOUT THE DOUBLE SPREAD PAGE

Layout is columns usually 3 to 4 columns per page

It links the two page together to create a coherent effect

The article will be informal and the personality of the journalist should come through to the reader

A consistent color scheme is used

First person is often used.

The first paragraph to the article is the most important as it grabs the attention immediately- consists of different colored fonts
