What are the types of cloud marketplaces?
1. Integrated marketplaceThis is a marketplace that offers multiple services for your business. You can launch your own app store and/or you can integrate and sell your SaaS app into the provider’s app store ultimately reaching millions of new users.
2. Directory marketplaceThis marketplace is a summary of SaaS, PaaS, IaaS offerings available to customers. A link to your application can be added to the directory and be found by potential users.
3. Proprietary marketplaceThis marketplace is built around a specific business or platform. It lets the business choose what applications are available to their customers.

How do I integrate into each marketplace?
1. Integrated marketplaceTo integrate your application into this type of marketplace, you need an API that meets the 8 points of integration – provision, de-provision, upgrade, downgrade, suspend, resume, billing, and single sign-on. There are ways around these functions if the API is not available for one of them, but for a smoother integration process, it’s best to have all points met.
2. Directory marketplaceFor this marketplace, you only need to provide a link to your company on the directory website. There is no integration process for this marketplace.
3. Proprietary marketplaceIntegration into this type of marketplace can be similar to the Integrated marketplace. But, keep in mind that each Proprietary marketplace will be different requiring individualized points of integration.
