Nikon D5 Camera At its core is a brand new 20.8MP FX-Format CMOS Sensor and Nikon's EXPEED 5 image processor. It uses a new autofocus system with 153 AF points, 99 of which are cross-sensor. Compared to the D4s, those AF points are spread out to cover a greater portion of the frame. The D5 also features updated AF algorithms. What will probably be a successful innovation

Robo R2 3D Printing Set The R2, retailing at just under $2,000, is a ‘pro-summer’

printer. Designed by ROBO 3D as hardware for those who are more serious about making at home, or

perhaps for use in mid-level business applications, it offers 1,000 cubic inches of build space and print speeds

Why it just might work:

3D printing is at its development phase. Offering consumers a possibility to 3D-print with

simplicity is a good bet.

Bragi Dash Wireless Earbuds The Dash is basically a touch control with two separate

ear buds that connect to each other wirelessly with a 4GB of on board storage. Plus the device has 3.5 hours

Why it just might work:

One annoying thing about earbuds: wire. This is clearly a good innovation.

Withings Smart Thermometer The Withings Thermo uses Withings HotSpotSensor Technology to provide more precise temperature reading, by taking 4000 measurements in just 2 seconds. Read more: bit.ly/1Q9LDm6 Why it just might work: The democratisation of sensors clearly benefits the health sector. This item is a very good example of effective connected solutions to everyday problems.

Icaros VR Flying Rig A rig you climb on top of to simulate flight. There's no motor or hydraulics here — the sense of motion is derived solely from your own of balance. Read more: engt.co/1POFdux Why it just might work: VR is the next big thing. Although the Icaros is available at a very, very high price, it is probably what a VR dinosaur will look like within a few years. Because other systems will come after this pioneer.

What will probably not work

Narrative Smart Camera The Narrative Clip 2 has hit pre-order, enabling customers to stake their claim to the company's new and improved wearable camera. Besides its size and hanging system, this particular product isn’t really innovative

LifeFuel Connected Bottle A smart nutrition bottle that was selected as a 2016 CES

Innovation Award Honoree. It adds pre-measured amounts of concentrated supplements and flavours to

Why it might not work:

It is possible that people don’t want to drink water treated by a connected object.

The tracking activity is a good idea, but the whole concept isn’t innovative properly speaking since it does

not match a need or solve a problem.

Hopper Go Dish Portable Recorder With the Hopper 3, Dish now arguably has the most powerful DVR on the market. Powered by the new Broadcom 7445 quad-arm processor, the Hopper 3 is claimed to be seven times as fast as the Hopper 2, twice as fast as TiVo’s new Bolt, and offers up to 16 tuners across its lightning fast interface. Also the cloud and VOD systems take care of data accessibility, which reduces the need of Such a product.

LG Rollable TV Screen The world's first 30R 18-inch rollable display that can be
