Let me explain exactly what it is?

• The research chemical Methiopropamine is known to have a powdery appearance, and is off-white in colour. It happens to slightly clumpy, that is, the powder is not of the fine kind, but of the kind that sticks around in clumps.

• As for the odour, it is reported by some to smell of aniseed, although very mildly. The taste is said to be bitter, if consumed orally.

Methiopropamine used for?Methamphetamine researchers could use MPA as a starting point to better understand the receptors processes involved in the pharmacology of Methamphetamine chemical. Furthermore, some studies using MPA could help us to better understand the mechanism of action for the dopamine, serotonin and norepinephrine transporters, as MPA is believed to act by reversing the flow of these neurotransmitters via the respective transporter protein.

In vitro (outside living organism) studies have found a massive influx of dopamine, serotonin and norepinephrine within the synapse after administration of MPA to certain membranes. MPA can also be used as a simple reference sample for GC/MS, NMR or FTIR catalogues.

Equally, It may be useful to chemistry based projects as a primary reagent.
