Land Pollution in Mongolia

Soil degradation and pollution becoming very

serious problem in Mongolia, recently.

Up to 60 % of soil cover affected by soil

erosion and soil fertility declining.

Result of soil pollution in several places in

Mongolia died livestock, and human health

problem. Such as Khongor and Boroo.

Land Pollution in Pakistan

In Pakistan, the pollution problems

have been rising seen it got its

independence.

Pakistan generates 47,920 tonnes of

solid wastes per day.

Causes of Land

Pollution

(1) Mining Activity

Heavy minerals, sulfuric acid and other

toxic material leak from mining waste into

soil.

Huge hole is created at the bottom of the

surface which created a big mining pool.

(2) Industrialization

Increase in demand of food and

shelter, therefore more waste

product are produce.

(3) Nuclear Waste

Left over nuclear plant is throw at the

bottom of the land.

(4) Agricultural Activities

Farmers often use highly toxic

fertilizers and pesticides to get rid of

insects, fungi and bacteria from their

crops.

(1) Distraction for touristThe city looses its attraction as tourist

destination

Tourism in that particular area drop

It lead to loss of revenue for state

government and also affect business

activities in that country

(2) Soil Pollution

Decrease in soil fertility and therefore

decrease in soil yield.

Generally crops can’t grow and flourish in

polluted soil. Yet, if some crops mange to

grow, they would be poisonous enough to

cause serious health problem in people

consuming them.

LAND POLUTION

(1) Reduce, Recycle and

Reuse.• Reduce the amount of litter, recycle the waste

that can be recycled and reuse those that can

still be used.

• Practiced in almost every single country in the

world

(2) Buy Biodegradable

ProductBiodegradable products enable the waste

products to “compost”.

Lesser rubbish will be produced.

(3) Create Dumping

seen all over the places.
