BUNYIPS ADVENTURE

There were glittering sparkles in the clear blue sea. In the Indian Ocean there was a blue whale named Bunyip.

Bunyip was on a journey to find his mother who had vanished 3 days ago at dawn. Bunyip didn’t know the basics of his mother, like her weight and her size. But he did know his mother had to weigh around 200 tons and she would also be 25 to 35 meters, since that is the size of a female adult whale.

Bunyip knew he was 95% safe because he does not have any aggressive or dangerous predators. Bunyip will travel from ocean to ocean, because of his status he cannot stay in one place for long.

It has been 4 days since Bunyip’s mother had disappeared. Bunyip is now located in the Atlantic Ocean. And this time, nothing was in sight of his lost mother. Bunyip is starving and feels like eating milk, denser swarms and krill. (Tiny shrimp-like crustaceans)

Five days have passed. Bunyip is lonely and is starving that he thinks he won’t even survive the life span of 80 to 90 years in the wild.

(Whoosh) The seaweed was swaying, and no fishes were in sight, but there was a shadow. It was following Bunyip; unfortunately Bunyip was unaware that he was being followed. That is, when it came closer and closer, you could here its swimming noises that even Bunyip could here too.

ALTHOUGH BUNYIP WAS BEING FOLLOWED HE WAS QUITE CALM. BUT IT CAME CLOSER AND CLOSER UNTIL...

BOO! “AHH” yelled Bunyip, when he found himself staring at a blue whale. They both started at each other speechlessly unexpected.

IT WAS A FEMALE BLUE WHALE; BUNYIP WAS SURPRISED TO SEE A FEMALE BLUE WHALE IN THE ATLANTIC OCEAN. “W..WHAT’S YOUR NAME?” BUNYIP ASKED BRAVELY.“IT’S ISABELLA, WHAT’S YOURS?” SHE MUMBLED.“IT’S BUNYIP” HE REPLIED.THEY STOOD SILENTLY FOR AWHILE, AND STARED AT EACH OTHER. AND AFTER THAT THEY LAUGHED AT EACH OTHER.

As they laughed until Bunyip’s miserable stomach started to growl, Isabella went through her bag and found a jar of dense swarms. She gave half to Bunyip and ate the rest. Isabella then asked “Why are you here all alone?”“I am here to look for my long lost mother who disappeared 5 days ago at dawn, and you?” he said, while munching on his food.“That’s the same for me too, but I wonder why they vanished?” she said.

AS THEY BOTH STARTED TO THINK, THEY HEARD A NOISE AS LOUD! AS A JET ENGINE, ISABELLA AND BUNYIP FOLLOWED THE LOUD ENGINE NOISE AND FOUND A LAND FULL OF BLUE WHALES, CAPTURED IN NETS.

Isabella and Bunyip suggested that their mothers would be beyond the land. As they both swam through the land of captured whales, something big and dark floated on top of the two of them. They both started to get Goosebumps and shivers, so Bunyip swam up into the clear blue sky for the first time in his life, looking at a ship with the evil Japanese devils.

BUNYIP SWAM BACK TO WARN ISABELLA ABOUT THE SHIP. AS THEY WERE QUICKLY GOING TO SEE, IF THEIR PARENTS WERE BEYOND THE BLUE WHALES, THE ROPES AND NETS STARTED TO RISE TOWARDS THE SHIP. ISABELLA AND BUNYIP STARTED TO PANIC, AS THEY HEARD THERE NAMES BEING CALLED OUT.

As they heard there names being called out, they followed the voices which led them to their mothers. When they saw their mum’s they cried out of happiness but, time was running out before they knew it.

WHILE THE TWO PARENTS WERE BEING PULLED UP, THEY SAID AT THE SAME TIME “WE WILL ALWAYS BE IN YOUR HEART.”

5 years have passed. Isabella and Bunyip had got married and were in bliss of happiness, but despite those hard times. There parent’s will always be in their hearts.
