ABOUT BOREL

Founded in 1927, Borel Swiss is the leading manufacturer of electric furnaces, kilns and ovens for the metal, heat pro-cessing, heat treating, metal melting, ceramics, glass, porcelain, pottery markets.

Borel propose a whole range of standard furnaces, accessories & spare parts. If you need a furnace specially tailor-made to your needs, Borel will be pleased to help you. For example, we regularly make modifications at our customers’ request for making a hole in a door or behind the furnace, changing the regulator or adding recorders, updating the security performances, injecting a protective or reaction gas inside the furnace, mounting an automatic door, adapting a load support, connecting the furnace to a supervision system or ERP system, making a ceramic or refractory steel muffle customized. Our experience showed us that it’s much more economic to modify an existing standard furnace rather than building a special furnace.

All the Borel furnaces are made in Switzerland or in Europe by our subcontractors with whom we have a partnership. All the Borel furnaces are subjected to a quality control and functioning tests in our workshops in Switzerland before shipment. All the Borel furnaces are EC certified and some of them can be subjected to special certifications, type AMS, on request. Borel Swiss is certified ISO 9001 -2008 by SGS Switzerland and proposes on request guarantee extensions conditions until 5 years for all of its products.

Borel export our products all over the world directly from Switzerland and can therefore guarantee you a better price without intermediaries. Our products are guaranteed 1 year and repaired in our workshops. If the repair transport cost is too high, we send you directly the spare parts.

Definition: A ladle is a mobile muffle in refractory steel provi-ded with an inert gas inlet. The muffle is designed to be placed in a chamber furnace with the parts themselves arranged in the muffle. It is then possible to work with protective gas.Construction: The muffle is parallelepiped-shaped (with one hinged face closing by gravity), with a gas inlet (which also serves as a handle) and a mobile floor grid system on which the parts are placed. The mobile floor makes it easy to transfer the parts from the muffle to the quenching tank. Heating: The maximum temperature withstood by the muffles is 1100°C. Definición: Horno con pala extraíble para trabajos bajo gas de protección. Una pala es una mufla extraíble de acero refractario que incorpora una entrada de gas inerte. La pala está destinada a ser introducida en un horno de cámara, disponiéndose las piezas en la propia pala, de manera que se posibilite el trabajo bajo gas de protección.

Construcción: La pala está compuesta de una mufla paralelepípeda (una de cuyas caras, con bisagras, se cierra por gravedad), de una entrada de gas (que sirve a la vez de mango para maniobra) y de un sistema de solera con parrilla móvil sobre la cual se depositan las piezas. La solera móvil permite fácilmente el paso de las piezas de la pala hacia un tanque de temple.Calefacción: La temperatura máxima que soportan las palas es de 1100°C. AXRON TEMPERATURE CONTROLLERS ECO 300

Definition: The controller is used to set the desired furnace (or oven) temperature. The furnace heats up to this temperature then heats intermittently to maintain it. With a programmable controller, the desired temperature can be associated with the time desired to reach it. Each of the temperature/time pairs is called a segment. A set of segments forms a program, and some regulators allow several programs to be memorised. The-re are principally 2 types of segment. Ramp: the furnace tem-perature rises or falls to the desired temperature as a function of the desired time, following a linear progression and heating intermittently. REGULADOR DE TEMPERATURA AXRON ECO 300

Definición: El regulador permite regular la temperatura que se desee obtener en el horno (o estufa). El horno se calienta para obtener la temperatura deseada y continua funcionando de manera intermitente para mantenerla. Un regulador programable permite asociar a la temperatura que se pretende obtener el tiempo deseado para obtenerlo. Cada combinación temperatura/tiempo se denomina segmento. Un segmento constituye un programa, ciertos reguladores permiten la memorización de varios programas. Los segmentos se distinguen en dos tipos: las rampas, con las que el horno debe subir o bajar a la temperatura deseada en función del tiempo dado,siguiendo una progresión lineal y calentando intermitentemente: y los escalones, con los que el horno mantiene la temperatura estable calentando intermitentemente.

Ejemplo:

The mobile floor makes it easy to transfer the parts from the muffle to the quenching tank. Heating: The maximum temperature withstood by the muffles is 1100°C. Our muffles are available with our chamber furnaces for 1100°C, or 1200°C for more intensive use.Type of gas: Working with non-flammable gas (nitrogen, for-ming gas 92-8 etc.).Pneumatics: Our muffles are fitted with a valve to regulate the air supply. Type M16 connector.

Definición: Horno con pala extraíble para trabajos bajo gas de protección. Una pala es una mufla extraíble de acero refractario que incorpora una entrada de gas inerte. La palaestá destinada a ser introducida en un horno de cámara, disponiéndose las piezas en la propia pala, de manera que se posibilite el trabajo bajo gas de protección.

Construcción: La pala está compuesta de una mufla paralelepípeda(una de cuyas caras, con bisagras, se cierra por gravedad), de unaentrada de gas (que sirve a la vez de mango para maniobra) y deun sistema de solera con parrilla móvil sobre la cual se depositan las piezas. La solera móvil permite fácilmente el paso de las piezas de la pala hacia un tanque de temple.

Calefacción: La temperatura máxima que soportan las palas es de1100°C. Posibilidad de vender las palas con nuestros hornos de cámara 1100°C o 1200°C para un uso más frecuente.

Tipo de gas: Trabajo bajo gas de protección no inflamable (nitrógeno, gas Formier 92-8).Neumático: Nuestras palas poseen un grifo para regular la llegadade aire. Racor empalme tipo M16.
