Every year, the BMC Control-M team surveys its customers – and even those that are not yet Control-M customers. Here are results from this year’s survey, which was concluded in March 2013.

A few highlights include:

About 60% of the organizations are managing workloads across distributed and mainframe platforms.

Workloads are increasing, mostly due to transaction growth and new applications

Self Service is rapidly on the rise

Most organizations can’t afford to have their workload automation servers down for more than 2 hours – and even then it is extremely costly and can exceed $1M
