Blue Ocean is one of the biggest manufacturers of indoor polymer piping systems, polymer processing equipment, polymer injection molds and polymer pipe welding equipment. Strict quality control, years of experience, constant research of new technologies and high quality customer service — these are the main factors that make Blue Ocean Group one of the leading companies in polymer piping business in the world.

While we own and manage several production facilities for our systems, our main production plant is located in Qingdao City, Shandong Province, People’s Republic of China. It is a 100% foreign invested company, fully managed and controlled by owners and management of Blue Ocean Industrial Development (UK) Group Ltd. The territory of main production plant is around 70000 sq. meters and it is operated 24/7 and 365 days a year by 700+ employees.

While first company of Blue Ocean appeared in year 1995, our polymers production history

started in year 2000 and with professional and enthusiastic approach of company owners and management has become one of the world’s leading companies in polymer piping production.

All equipment and piping systems comply with the applicable standards required in each market area and are tested in certified test laboratories.

To ensure that our products are produced in accordance with our plans and requirements, we need to be able to have full control over production process. That is why at our production facilities we use only Blue Ocean-owned design custom-made high speed production lines made with support of leading specialists from Germany and Italy. With years of experience in assembly, research and export of production lines, we have mastered shaping the equipment according to our needs and needs of our customers.

Our confidence in quality of our products is confirmed by world’s most reputable certification bodies like SKZ, KIWA, DVGW and etc. And we want our clients to be confident in us. That is why we offer 10 years* warranty for all Blue Ocean PPR pipes and fittings.

According to international standards we use during production of our PPR systems, guaranteed working time is 30 years with hot water and 50 years with cold water.

Our warranty details can be found in our technical catalogue or provided by our technical specialists.

*Note: guarantee period is 10 years from manufacturing date. Please note that warranty is applicable only for defective products with defects occurred during manufacturing of the products. Damage caused during transportation, installation and wrong storage conditions is not covered by the warranty. Installation and maintenance of the products are to be made in accordance with technical characteristics of the product and installation instructions. Indispensable condition of warranty coverage is usage of original Blue Ocean piping components and Blue Ocean welding equipment. Also pressure Test Record is required. PPR polymer piping systems have recommended themselves as a very reliable and easy to install replacement for old metal pipes. Providing years of service and quick and easy installation by means of fusion welding, PPR is one of the best solutions so far for indoor hot, cold and drinking water transportation, heating and “under-floor” heating systems, air conditioning systems in civil and industrial constructions, public and sport facilities.

Blue Ocean PPR piping systems can also be used for transportation of aggressive fluids (acids, alkalies and etc.). Please refer to our technical catalogue for Chemical Resistance of Polypropylene table.

Blue Ocean produces a wide range of PPR pipes, fittings and accessories. Polypropylene Random Copolymer type 3 is a reliable and environmentally friendly material with high-performance characteristics.

Blue Ocean singe-layer PPR pipes Blue Ocean single layer PPR pipes are produced by extrusion method. Being the most popular among plumber and cost-effective, they have been our best-seller for many years until we developed more advanced multilayer pipes (with aluminium or glass fiber).

Blue Ocean Fiber-G (PPR/Fiberglass/PPR) composite pipes Blue Ocean Fiber-G polymer composite pipes produced by multi-extrusion method with middle layer made of special polymer-fiberglass composition, which was spe-cially designed in the laboratory of Blue Ocean plant.

Main advantages in comparison with usual PPR pipes:• Low thermal expansion α=0.05mm/mK• High stability• Simple installation (similar to usual PPR pipes)• Less weight per running water• The finer thickness of the pipe enables a 20% increase of fluid capacity

Blue Ocean PPR/AL/PPR (PE-RT) outer layer thermo-fusion multilayer composite pipes Blue Ocean PPR/Al/PPR (PE-RT) pipe is made of 5 layers with outside layer produced of PPR and inside layer produced of either PPR or PE-RT. Middle layer is made of overlap or but-welded aluminium layer. We recom-mend using pipe with but-welded aluminium as it is more advanced technology than overlap-welded alumini-um, allowing use of thicker aluminium with seamless-welding connection, resulting in improved qualities like increased durability of pipe. Outside and inside polymer layers are connected to aluminium by high-molecular adhesive layers. Aluminium layer guarantees low thermal expansion and 100% oxygen barrier.

High-strength connection of polymer layers with aluminium defines value of expansion, which is similar to characteristics of solid-metal pipes. One of the main advantages of Blue Ocean PPR/Al/PPR (PE-RT) pipes is its simple and clean thermo-fusion connection with standard PPR fittings: no special treatment and prepara-tions needed, just cut and weld.

Blue Ocean STABI PPR/AL/PPR composite pipesBlue Ocean Stabi (PPR/Al/PPR) pipe is mechanically stabilized through integrated aluminum layer. It is and extension range of Blue Ocean PPR piping systems with better workability and lower thermal expansion. Pipe construction: homogenous PPR inner pipe (according to EN ISO 15874 (2004) and DIN 8077/8078) with sealed aluminum layer and outer PPR cover layer. The aluminum layer reduces the linear expansion coefficient to <0.035 mm/mK and protects inside PPR pipe preserving its properties and acting as an oxygen barrier: Blue Ocean Stabi pipes can be welded with Blue Ocean PPR fittings.

Blue Ocean CU Copper anti-bacterial pipesBlue Ocean CU copper pipes are made of 3 layers with outside layer produced of PPR and inside layer produced of but-welded copper foil. Outside layer is connected to copper layer by high-molecular polymer adhesive. Copper layer guarantees anti-bacterial qualities of the pipe, making it perfect for drinking water and air-conditioning. One of main advantages over usual copper pipes is its simple and clean thermo-fusion connection with standard PPR fittings: no special treatment and preparations needed, just cut and weld.

PPR socket fusion fittings We are proud to say that at this moment, Blue Ocean has the biggest range of PPR fittings and PPR system products in the world. Our fittings range includes PPR fittings with sizes 16-160mm for normal PPR and 20-110 for PPR with brass alloy inserts of maximum size 4 inch. Our brass inserts are made of CW617 European standard brass, but we optionally provide CW614 and CW602N for specific market demands.

Valves Our selection of valves includes stop valves, gate valves and ball valves and we are the first company in the world to implement our patented PPSU material balls for ball valves as a replacement for brass, providing longer life time and more resistances to aggressive chemicals.

Blue Ocean OCEAN-FIT Series PE-RT / PPSU system is produced according to the latest and improved technologies in plumbing and heating systems. After many years of research and technology improvement, we proudly present our own PE-RT / PPSU system. Easiness of application both for push-fit and press-fit systems makes it a perfect solution for modern plumbing and heating applications, and light weight and high raw material resistances is a huge advantage over brass systems in the same applications.

PPSU Raw material:Polyphenylsulfone (PPSU) is a type of moldable plastic often used in rapid prototyping and rapid manufacturing applications. Polyphenylsulfone is a heat and chemical-resistant material. It is typically used in automotive, aerospace and plumbing applications. Polyphenylsulfone has virtually no melting point, due to its amorphous nature, and offers tensile strength up to 8000 psi. Its commercial name is Radel.

Socket welders and welding machines The most common method for connecting PPR pipes and fittings is the socket thermo fusion welding. Blue Ocean offers hand-held socket welding devices and socket welding machines with pipe clamping for socket fusion.
