• CC0 für Europeana Metadaten ab Sommer 2012 verpflichtend. • Ermöglicht einfache und legale Nutzung durch Services, APIs,

Apps.• Wenig problematisch im Bibliotheksbereich.• Problematischer im Museumsbereich, weil Europeana

Metadaten = Wissenschaftliche Forschungsdaten. Forscher und Forschungseinrichtungen brauchen Referenzierung (cc-by), manche wollen kommerzielle Nutzung ausschließen (cc-by-nc).

• Führt möglicherweise zu restriktiverer Datenübergabe an Europeana als gewünscht.
