Our Recipe For…
• simple-to-use folder document processing
• unattended document processing
• easy integration of your files and scans
into various EMR/EDR, document
management or other secure storage
environments.
Here’s how it works.
1. Setup: Make a profile
• where you define specific processing tasks for all files contained in a specific folder
• can be named and saved for reuse and editing as needed
A Profile?
What Processing?
A large single file can be split into multiple files with information from barcodes and content.

1. Process Folder: just select a Profile and designate the
Windows’ folder to process and the output folder
2. Watch Folder: automatically polls the designated folder for any new files and automatically process the files there based on the Profile selected
Optionally the Watch Folder function can be launched in conjunction with Microsoft’s Windows Services to run without user intervention when the system is on.
There are two options to process folders of files.
Folder Settings: Start the processing as specified

• Index Data: can be exported via CSV or XML to
populate a document management, EMR, EDR system.
• Simple Search and Retrieval: optionally, DocuFi can supply a simple search and retrieval system.
• Full-text Searching: available if you have elected to create searchable PDF files and your document management system supports this.
Your files are now accessible.
