After surveying the roof and consulting with the technical staff at ICC, this roof has been determined to be a candidate for :ASTEC RE-PLY ROOF SYSTEM

Because several roof leaks appear to be emanating at the parapets these areas will be addressed with ASTEC Re-Ply waterproof base reinforced with polyester cloth and then finished with ASTEC Re-Ply Finish coat

Although this section of asphalt roofing is small, 400 square feet, it also will be waterproofed and reinforced.

In addition to waterproofing the roof, Astec Re-Ply is highly reflective and will help keep the roof surface cooler, and consequentially the interior of the house as well. Astec Re-Ply is also very resistant to salt spray. With this buildings close proximity to the ocean, salt spray resistance is a necessity.

Astec Re-Ply can be tinted to most colors if desired, and the system carries a ten- year material warranty backed by the manufacturer.

ASTEC® RE-PLY™ is a Cool Roof System. It is white and reflective and will significantly lower heat gain into the building and reduce air conditioning load and energy use, it will eventually pay for itself and then pay a premium in energy savings.

The system is warranted by the manufacturer for material for a full ten years. If the roof is re-coated with just the finish product before the expiration at the original warranty, the warranty is extended for an additional ten years.
