AI based Knowledge Management System- Project BIDi
IDB is a geographically dispersed enterprise, with office locations all across the world supporting a multilingual workforce.
These officers work on various documents in many different languages, mainly English, Spanish and Portuguese.
For business reasons, these officers need to efficiently identify relevant SMEs located anywhere in the world on various topics of current interest as per the current tasks at hand.
But it’s not easy to know whom to reach out to and where.
The goal of the BIDi project is to solve such knowledge management problems in a simple and efficient manner using AI based technologies.

• Help company personnel search and find relevant SMEs for helping them in their respective tasks.
• Identify Subject Matter Experts (SME) over various topics located at various geographical office locations of the company.
• Create deep profiles of persons from entities extracted from documents.
• Rank the retrieved persons as SMEs based on their authority, experiences and contributions towards the relevant topics.
• Use a simple and easy architecture and user interface.
