History of Visual FoxPro • 1992- Microsoft acquired Fox Software, a year after it released FoxPro 2.0 version. 

• 1995- Name changed to Microsoft Visual FoxPro. Same year version 3.0 released.

• 1996 to 2004- Released 5 versions, except 4.0. Released till version 9.0.

• Late 2007- Stopped supporting Visual FoxPro.

• 2010- Ended technical support to last version I.e., 9.0.

• 2015- Extended support also ended.
