DESCRIPTION
We learned about the last ten years how to make WebPages accessible. But the WebPages changed dramatically. They became fully interactive applications with a lot of new models of interaction. Additionally the web became our all day companion - as well for persons with disabilities. This created new challenges for accessibility but on the same time a lot of new chances for a new kind of accessibility. This talk will give some insights how WAI-ARIA, open APIs and Javascript in general increased accessibility. Finally bridging to the mobile web the talk will provide a view out of the box. Examples how applications not primarily intended for persons with disabilities changed their daily live. The talk will close with a engaging view into the future to encourage everyone to provide new digital services in an accessible way and perhaps shaping a new great inclusive world.

Accessibility
After being surprised by the extent to which accessible web and mobile apps can improve independence, we start to wonder what impact an accessible environment has, and we begin to understand the fundamental need for accessibility to create a better tomorrow.
