service partner, the first and most important ones are experience and client base.
However, if taking into consideration wide-ranging cooperation, it is reasonable to
also look at other characteristics of the provider and their offer.
What should you look at to choose the best?

cooperation. That's why it is so important to check with the
potential business partner if they have a team of consultants
dealing only with the service issues and how they manage
any lack of free consultants.

Another factor showing that the potential partner is
a reliable one is the ability to provide one person
who takes care of the client throughout the whole
procedure, from reporting an issue, through to
solving it, and who also keeps an eye on all the
deadlines.

It is worth checking if the service partner has a dedicated
portal through which the exchange of information
between the company and its partner takes place. The
topics can be various: reporting issues, suggested
solutions, contact persons or completion time.

When choosing a service partner, it is good to check what range
of services they can provide. In the case of the application
service - SAP, the most important are the modular competences,
however technological experience is also of great importance,
especially in the areas of BASIS and ABAP.

When choosing a service partner it is worth checking from
where their services are provided and what level of security
they can guarantee. Working from the provider's office or
off-site is a standard used to keep maintenance costs low.

Even if a company is content with their current service partner,
it is reasonable to be open to other providers' offers. It can
bring a fresh outlook to the SAP solutions used by the
company, which can be transferred onto facilitations used in
the system.
