This section of the Administration area allows you to select events for which you want to send out notifications. You can also manage e-mail notification lists here and specify which users will be notified of user feedback.

1) Mark the check-box next to the event for which you want the system to send out notifications.

1) EVENT NOTIFICATION:

2) If you want one or more persons to be notified on enabled events for all document, enter their email addresses here. When finished, click OK to save the changes.

1) EVENT NOTIFICATION:

The event notifications are sent to following users:

Document published: Notification is sent to the document owner and optionally to a list of users defined in the Notification lists.

Document expired: Notification is sent to the document owner (you can also set how many days in advance the notification needs to be sent)

Document regular review due soon: Notification is sent to the document owner.

All events: In addition to users mentioned above, additional users can be added that will be notified for all enabled events and all documents.

2) MANAGE E-MAIL NOTIFICATION LISTS:

1) To add a new list, click on the ‘Add New List’ button.

2) Enter the name of the list, description and email addresses belonging to this list (one address in each line). When finished, click OK.

3) The new list has been added. If you need to make changes to it later, just click on the name of the list and edit it.

4) If the ‘Document published’ event described earlier has been enabled, you will now be able to choose a list of users that will be automatically notified once a document gets published.

3) USERS FEEDBACK:1) Users feedback is by default forwarded to the document owner. If you wish to forward this feedback to other users as well, enter their e-mail addresses here and click OK.

What we have done:

We enabled automatic notifications for three DocPublisher events (Document publishing, expiry and review due soon).

We also added other users that will be notified for all enabled events and all documents

We set up several notifications lists which the Content Manager can use to automatically notify users when a

document has been published We routed users feedback to users other than the document

owner
