I. COMPLETENESS• wholeness, entirely, totality, unity, fullness and
comprehensiveness• should convey all facts required by the audience• should know the receiver’s mind—• convey the message accordingly Complete • develops and enhances reputation of an organization. • always provides additional information wherever required• leaves no questions in the mind of receiver • helps in better decision-making by the audience/readers/receivers • influences the audience or spectators
II. CONCISENESS• expressing much in few words • clear and succinct• an effective communication conveys in a few possible words• conciseness is very necessary for effective communications both time-saving as well as cost-saving underlines and highlights the main message • communicator avoids excessive and needless words• provides short, brief and comprehensive message in limited words to the audience • is more appealing and understandable to the audience
III. CONSIDERATION • careful thought; deliberation; • a result of considering; an opinion or a judgment • in view of; on account of; in return for • empathy: understanding and entering • into another’s feelings “stepping into the shoes of others” • emphasize on “you” approach• emphasize on “what is possible” rather than “what is impossible”• use positive words committed, thanks, warm, healthy, help, etc.
IV. CLARITY• vivid, transparent, clear
• clearness of thought or style
• makes understanding easier
• clarity of concepts, thoughts and ideas enhances the meaning of message
• clear message makes use of exact, suitable and real words
