Sample Data File Import Sequence1. Click the ¶Import· Excel icon to import

Chains.csv at the ¶Chains· panel of the

¶Retail Chains View· screen.

2. Similarly import Stores.csv at the

¶Stores· panel of the ¶Retail Chains View·

screen.

3. Import Manufacturers.csv at the

¶Manufacturers· panel of the

¶Manufacturers View· screen.

4. Click the Categories button at the

bottom of the ¶Manufacturers View·

screen and import Categoriess.csv at the

¶Product Categories· screen.

5. You must refresh the ¶Manufacturers

View· screen before you import

ProductsAll.csv at the ¶Products· panel of

the ¶Manufacturers View· screen.

6. Click the + icon to add Projects to

Manufacturers in the ¶Projects· panel of

the ¶Manufacturers View· screen.

7. Click the + icon in the ¶Schematics·

panel of the ¶Manufacturers View· screen

to go to the ¶Schematics· screen.

8. Click the + icon in the ¶All Schematics·

panel of the ¶Schematics· screen to create

Schematics.

9. From the Assignments screen click the

edit (pencil) icon in the ¶Products

Assigned to Schematics· panel to go to

the ¶Schematic Products· screen.

10. Import SchematicProducts.csv at the

¶All Products· panel of the ¶Schematic

Products· screen.

11. From the ¶Assignments· screen click

the edit (pencil) icon in the ¶Store Groups·

panel to go to the ¶Store Groups· screen.

12. Import StoreGroups.csv at the ¶Store

Groups· panel of the ¶Store Groups·

screen.

13. Import StoreGroupsStores.csv at the

¶Store Assigned to ¬· panel of the ¶Store

Groups· screen.

14. From the ¶Assignments· screen click

the edit (pencil) icon in the ¶Store Group

Project Assignments· panel to go to the

¶Projects· screen.

15. Select a Project and a Store Group

then click the ¶Include Store Groups·

button to assign a Store Group to a

Project.

16. Select a Project then click the ? Icon

to go to the ¶Project Questions· screen.

17. Click the Excel ¶Import Questions·

button at the bottom of the screen to

import the Questions.csv data.

18. From the ¶Assignments· screen click

the blue icon at the top right of the

screen to open the ¶Add Users to your

Resources Pool· panel.

19. Click the Refresh icon in the panel

(not at the bottom of the screen), select a

merchandiser and click the ¶person· icon

to add them to your pool.

20. From the ¶Assignments· screen click

the pencil icon in the ¶Users in selected

Store Groups· panel to go to the ¶Group

Users· screen.

21. Select a User and a Store Group then

click the ¶Include Group· button to assign

the Store Group to the User.

From now on you can navigate to screens to make adjustments

over time.

Importing Store Groups, assigning Stores to Store Groups and assigning Store Groups to Projects.

Any Store can belong to any number of Store Groups because you may have different projects with different visit requirements. Just give your Store Groups meaningful names so you will be

able to recognize each logical grouping of stores for assigning projects to merchandisers

Import the names of existing Stores that you want to assign to different Store Groups

Again, always check this dialogue. Any issues with the import will be shown here

Before assigning Store Groups to users, the Stores in the Store Groups may need to have their “Next Audit” date (depending upon how you schedule store visits) & “Status” set

The sample import data has the “Next Audit” dates pre-populated for importing. The “Status” is automatically set to “Not Started” when it is created or if the existing status is set to “Complete”
