Valentina Yegorova

Valentina was born in 16th 1964, In the village Izederkino. She is a Russian sportsman, athlete. She is a long-distance runner.

She graduated from the Volgograd Institute of Physical Culture in 1977. Her first coach was Gennady Vasilyev.

The first silver medal she won in 1990 in Split. The London Marathon 1991 Egorova was third. She won a gold medal in 1992 in Barcelona. In 1993 and 1994 Egorova won the prestigious Tokyo marathon. At the Olympic Games in Atlanta in 1996 Valentina won a silver medal.

Valentina is honorary citizen of Cheboksary and Tokyo. In Chuvashia are traditional athletic competitions for prizes Valentina Egorova.
