• Are your results on all the online Track and Field meet results sites?• Does your team have a profile?• Do you have a profile?

• Athletic.net – This is a fantastic site with unmatched stats. • Runnerspace.com – Great site where schools can contribute results articles.• Maxpreps.com – Central site for all school sports• Milesplit.com – High school stats site

Create Profiles and Post Where you Can

• There are a large number of sites where you can build profiles and share your information• More sites = More Exposure• Recruiticus – create a free profile that can be shared with others. Athletic Social Network and Community• Runnerspace – Create a profile and contribute to the community. • BeRecruited / Takkle / NCSA – other recruiting sites.

Attend Top Tier Meets• Work with your coach throughout the season to attend high visibility meets• Top Tier meets get you exposure• Perform and Get Noticed• Examples• Arcadia Invitational• Stanford Invitational• Penn Relays

Take the Initiative and Contact Coaches

• Don’t site back and wait• Build your target schools list and contact coaches• Send them links to your profiles, videos and pictures• Consistent contact is the key• Call, email, send letters and make yourself standout.

Attend Top Tier / Target School Camps

• Off-season is just as important• Look for top tier camps in your specific events• Example: Iron Wood or WTC for throwers: shot put, discus,

javelin and hammer

• Attend a camp at a target school• Build a relationship early with coaches and athletes
