The Indian School League is the competitive sports league of Indian schools

All Indian schools are eligible to get their sports teams and infrastructure accredited to The Indian School League

The Indian School League has 3 Levels. All teams on Registration are Level III Members of the Indian School League

Level I is the most competitive level of the Indian School League and includes 48 college teams which meet the highest standards of Sports Infrastructure, Athletic Departments, Athletic budgets and performance. Every year, 4 new teams are eligible to enter Level I from Level II

Level II includes 96 teams which meet standards of sports infrastructure, athletic departments, athletic budgets and performance

Revenue sources include broadcasting rights, sponsorships, licensing deals

The Indian School League shares most of its revenue with accredited School teams in various ratios

Level I Schools get the largest share of revenue sharing Its goal is to provide student athletes the competitive environment,

world class infrastructure and coaching and the financial and corporate support to pursue their sporting talent

The Indian School League has 3 Levels. Level III is for all schools who wish to be accredited to the League

Level I and Level II are for schools with sports infrastructure, Athletic departments, athletics budget and a Student Athlete program

HISTORY

The Indian School League League was founded by legendary financial markets guru, Ashu Dutt as part of the Sports League system that includes The Indian Little League, The Indian School League, The Indian College League and Professional Leagues and sports franchises

The Sports League system has put in place an institutional mechanism for developing world class sportsmen supported by a system that can raise capital, generate significant revenues, build brand and visibility and provide scholarships and top class education to student athletes. The League system that Ashu Dutt setup is on its way to giving India world class athletes across sports

Ashu has leveraged his 10 year knowledge of professional sports in the US and built a League system that encompasses professional and competitive sports through world class scientific methods at every stage and the right psychological and physical conditioning till the players reached Professional Leagues

ABOUT THE FOUNDER

The Indian School League was founded by legendary Financial Markets guru Ashu Dutt. Ashu is also the founder of The Indian School League and The Indian Little League

Ashu’s passion for sports was born out of his appreciation that without serious institutional financial support and capital and a clear career path for those who take sports seriously no real development of sports could happen. The League system he has put in place provides a life long path for those with sporting talent

Ashu is among the best known and respected faces in India. He has been the Chief Consulting Editor of BloombergUTV, Editor of CNBC TV18, Senior Consultant and Achor at NDTV and Star News and CEO and Director of SAB TV

ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Ashu is also the best selling author of 10 books on Investing, Trading, Futures & Options and Commodities. He is currently working on books on Sports Management and building Sports Franchises

Ashu is also a respected and widely respected speaker across Asia and has been a speaker and master trainer with Citibank, Barclays, EuroMoney, The Malaysian Investment Banking Association, EuroEvents, Ethan Hathaway and Pinnacle

Ashu is a Certified Public Accountant certified in the State of Maryland, USA. He holds an M.B.A from Bernard M. Baruch College, City University of New York, New York. He also holds a B.B.A.(Summa Cum Laude) in Finance & Investments from Bernard M. Baruch College, City University of New York, New York. His specializations include Economics and Options&Futures. He is the recipient of the “Baruch College Alumni Scholarship” and has been listed in the “Who’s Who on the Dean’s List”

THE INDIAN SCHOOL LEAGUE SYSTEM

All Indian schools can become members of the Indian School League

There are 3 Levels All schools who become members are accredited in “Level III” Level I is the highest level in The Indian School League system.

Schools which meet international standards of sport infrastructure, Athletic Departments and an Official program of Student Athlete intake can apply to become Level I schools

Level II is for schools which meet national standards of sport infrastructure, Athletic Departments and an Official program of Student Athlete intake can apply to become Level II schools

The Indian School League earns its revenues from broadcasting, licensing and sponsorship. It shares most the revenues with participating schools

LEVEL I CRITERIA

To qualify as a Level I School, a School must meet international standards of sporting infrastructure, athletic departments and Student Athlete Intake program

The School must have a Rs 1 cr/year athletic budget It must have an Athletic Department with an Athletic Director It must have or agree to world class infrastructure in the sports it

chooses It must have an Official Program to pick sporting talent from

schools

LEVEL II CRITERIA

Schools must meet national standards of Sports infrastructure, Athletic departments and an Official Student Intake program to quality for Level II. Some of the requirements include:

The School must have a Rs 50 lac/year athletic budget It must have an Athletic Department with an Athletic Director It must have or agree to national level sporting infrastructure It must have an Official Program to pick sporting talent from

schools

JOINING THE INDIAN SCHOOL LEAGUE

All Indian schools are eligible to get Accreditation from the Indian School League. To become a Member, please access www.ischoolleague.com

The Annual Fee is Rs 10,000/- Membership allows the school to be accredited to The Indian

School League as a Level III school and have an accreditation number

They can participate in any Level III Indian School League Cup tournaments

An Indian School League Accreditation brings visibility and branding to schools and enables them to attract quality students and student athletes

Broadcasting rights are auctioned for Level I sports. Broadcasters can bid for any number of sports the wish for in an auction. Broadcasting rights are for a term of 10 years
