crappy day in paradise. 

Woke up this morning and went surfing.

I text him that I just got a new ride that will define the future me.

to freshen up and meet him at the Sports Equipment store.

Had to get a new set of Calloway clubs to match my new ride.

The two gave a blank stare at my Lexus. 

This left me feeling ashamed and in a state of dissonance towards my new car. 

I searched the web for immediate substitutes.

Frustrated, I reflected on their reactions. I came to the realization that their reaction was not that of

“meh " but of awe.  They were shocked and jealous with my pick.
