1. PreparationRower must prepare to

atack when the last stroke has finished.

Rower has to move the oar as far as he can of his chest.

The objective is return quickly to start the next stroke cycle.

2. Atack

Oar enter to the water.It is important that the

movement has to be quickly to avoid craft starts to loose velocity.

It rower does not do this, oar can act as a brake.

3. PassadeThis phase appears when the

oar is on the water.The movement starts making

strength with our back.Then, when the rower is in

horizontal position, the arms have to end up the movement.

The blade of the oar can not leave from the water.

4. Restroke

This is a little movement located between passade and exit.

It is important to get a natural stroke.

5. Exit

Oar leaves from the water.The movement has to be

quick, energetic and clear.This movement is

important to prevent loosing strength.

Exit starts when arms have done their work.
